L.E.D. is an acronym for Light Emitting Diodes. LED’s are semiconductor “diode” devices that when forward biased with a voltage source and small amount of current will produce light. LED’s come in a varity of shapes, sizes and, colors. LED’s are everywhere and becoming more and more popular everyday. You probably have some in your home, automobile, or handheld devices.
